On October 1, 2026, we will become Paseo Credit Union. Our new name better reflects the broader communities we serve today, while the relationships, service, and team you’ve come to know remain the same. We’ll continue listening, understanding, and supporting what matters to you.

Our credit union has grown and evolved significantly over the years, including expanding the communities we serve throughout the San Gabriel Valley. While Pasadena will always be an important part of who we are, our membership today extends well beyond Pasadena.

The name Paseo Credit Union better represents the broader communities we serve today and where we are headed in the future, while still honoring the local roots and personal relationships that have defined our credit union for generations.

We wanted a name that felt connected to our history without limiting us geographically. Paseo has familiarity and a connection to the Pasadena area, while giving us a name that can represent members and communities throughout the San Gabriel Valley. It represents an evolution of our credit union, not a departure from who we are.

No. This is a name change, not a merger, acquisition, core conversion, or change to our banking systems. Your accounts will continue to work as they do today. You do not need to open a new account, change your account number, or take any special action because of the name change.

Yes. Your deposits will continue to have the same federal insurance coverage through the NCUA. Removing “Federal” from our name does not change your insurance coverage.

No. Your accounts and account numbers will not change because of the name change. There is nothing you need to do.

No. Your existing direct deposits and automatic payments will continue as they do today. You do not need to update them because of the name change.

Yes. Your current debit and credit cards will continue to work normally. You do not need a new card because of the name change.

 

As cards are replaced or expire in the future, members will gradually begin receiving cards featuring the Paseo Credit Union name and branding. Until then, continue using your existing card as you normally would.

You will continue to have access to online and mobile banking. You will not need to create a new account or re-enroll because of the name change.

You may begin seeing the Paseo Credit Union name and new branding within our digital channels as we complete the transition.

The relationships you’ve built with us. You’ll still be able to visit your local branch, call us, and work with the employees you know and trust. Your accounts will remain intact, and you will continue to have access to the products and services you use today.

Our goal is to build on what members already value about their credit union while continuing to improve how we serve them.

No. There is no action you need to take simply because our name is changing. Your accounts, account numbers, direct deposits, checks, cards, automatic payments, and digital banking access will continue to work.
