Pasadena Federal Credit Union is committed to providing you with financial products and services to meet your needs and to help you reach your financial goals. Protecting the privacy of your personal information and using it in a manner consistent with your expectations is of high priority to us.

This notice outlines our policies to protect your privacy in a manner consistent with providing you with the financial products and services that you need. Throughout this notice, the word "information" refers to personal information about you that may not be publicly available.

In order to provide you with financial products and services in a cost-efficient manner, we may disclose all information that we collect about you as described above. For example we may share information with our data processor or check printer. The Credit Union does not and will not sell or provide information to third parties for independent use.

As described below under "How We Protect Your Information" we have policies in place to protect the confidentiality of the information that is disclosed.

Parties To Whom We Disclose the Information
We may disclose information about you to various outside parties. The following are the types of businesses these parties are engaged in, along with some examples of the businesses.

Disclosure of Information to Parties That Provide Services to Us
We may also disclose information about you to others to assist us in providing you with information about other products and services that you may be interested in. This may include information on such products and services that are offered through a joint agreement between us and other providers of financial services.

We may also disclose information for certain other specific purposes that are not described in this notice. These disclosures are permitted under the law and generally include information to process transactions on your behalf, such as check printing, information that is disclosed with your consent, or disclosures necessary to protect the security of our financial records.

Accuracy of Personal Information
The Credit Union exercises reasonable procedures in order to assure the accuracy of our records and your information. Inaccurate information, when brought to our attention, will be corrected as promptly as possible. If you have any questions regarding the accuracy of your information, please contact us immediately.

We request you keep your personal information with the Credit Union as current as possible so you receive the maximum benefit from us.

How We Protect Your Information
Only our employees or other authorized individuals will have access to information about you and only to the extent that they have a need for the information. We prohibit our employees or other individuals from giving this information to anyone in a manner that would violate the law or our privacy policy. We do not provide information about you to anyone unless we first verify their identity and legal right to obtain this information. We regularly train our employees to ensure that your information is protected.

We also have safeguards in place to protect your information against natural disaster, hazards, or other threats. With regard to transactions that take place on the Internet, we have industry standard Secure Socket Layer encrypted browsers in place to protect the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of the information.

If you choose to terminate your membership we will continue to adhere to the policies and practices as described in this notice. We reserve the right to revise this policy as our business needs change or the law requires. If we revise our policies we will provide our active members with copies of our new policies as required.
