In keeping with the time-honored credit union motto of people helping people, the vibrant and passionate staff at PFCU has made a difference in our community in meaningful ways since 1935. Whether preparing and serving meals to clients at Union Station Homeless Services, providing those same clients with valuable financial literacy training to empower them in the future, supporting the Girl Scouts or our public libraries, distributing fingerprinting kits to families at Pasadena Fire Dept. Safety Awareness Day, assisting the Pasadena Police with a Halloween Family Night, or raising funds to help the animals in the Pasadena Humane Society’s Annual Wiggle Waggle Walk, our PFCU team is engaged and passionate!
Not only do we have an impact by providing strong, convenient, affordable financial services, we back it up with grassroots support of many of the local non-profits and organizations that have chosen to offer PFCU benefits to their employees, volunteers and clients. This synergy has earned PFCU a reputation to be proud of.
Our CEO, Ron Berry, serves on the Pasadena Fire Foundation Board and is also a member of the Pasadena Rotary Club. We are active in our local Chambers of Commerce and support MANY of the local organizations that make Pasadena great.
2012 has been declared "The Year of the Cooperative" by the United Nations and a special website was constructed to highlight co-ops like PFCU from all over the world. PFCU was featured as the Story of the Day on January 13, 2012. Take a look
